Recently, Hebei Huaxi Special Steel Co., Ltd. organized its cadres and employees to go to a government-designated blood donation center to carry out a voluntary blood donation public-welfare activity. Forty-five employees took part enthusiastically; the scene was filled with energy and warmth. With their surging blood, they extended the lifeline for others and demonstrated the company’s strong sense of social responsibility and commitment.

The company's management attached great importance to this activity. Through departmental notices, team briefings, and other channels, it publicized blood donation policies and basic medical knowledge. At the same time, it coordinated production tasks and organized employee participation in a reasonable manner to ensure both production and the public-welfare activity proceed without conflict. The company arranged dedicated shuttle buses to transport cadres and employees to the government-designated blood donation site and provided comprehensive, thoughtful support for all blood-donating employees.

At the donation site, employees were full of spirit and orderly. Under the guidance of the staff, they completed information entry, blood testing, and other steps one after another. Their focus while filling out forms and their calmness while waiting for testing fully displayed the rigorous and meticulous fine qualities of steelworkers.

Among the donors were both seasoned veteran employees and fresh, energetic new faces. Liang Zhibao, Head of the Safety Department, a regular voluntary blood donor, completed all procedures with ease. When the bright red blood flowed into the collection bag, he wore a gentle yet resolute smile throughout. "I have worked in safety for more than ten years. Safeguarding plant safety is my duty; donating blood is another form of safeguarding. This blood may save lives in the future, allowing families to regain hope. We, steelworkers, forge iron wills and strong bones, and we offer burning compassion. Contributing our strength to society is not only a responsibility, but also an honor."

After the donation, employees held their Voluntary Blood Donation Certificates, their faces beaming with pride. They all stated that voluntary blood donation is a good deed that benefits both others and oneself, and they felt immensely honored to contribute to society.
